Our Core Values
At Cultivate, our core business principles are sustainability, fairness and responsibility. Fairness to our employees and customers, sustainable in our impact on the environment and responsible to the communities we operate in. These standards permeate through all of our operations.
Our Cultivation & Sustainability Policy is focused on ocean health; cultivation methods; traceability; equitable labour practices; accurate product labelling; consumer education; and the promotion and protection of our marine environment. We are constantly adapting and evolving to meet new business challenges and to stay in step with the needs and demands of the modern conscious consumer.
Where We Grow
We acknowledge and are thankful to live, learn, and work on the territory of the Coast Salish people, specifically the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation.
Our kelp is cultivated locally less than 160 km from Vancouver, BC in the pristine waters of the Salish Sea.
